INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY (DIRECT ENTRY)
Candidates are required to qualify in UPSC written examination. The exam consists of three papers i.e Maths, English and GK of 100 marks each. All three papers are compulsory. Eligibility criteria are as given below.

No written test is conducted for this entry. On receipt of advertisement application form is required to be submitted to the NCC group headquarters through NCC Battalion from where NCC 'C' cert is passed. Interview is conducted by NCC group headquarters. Selected candidates are called for Service Selection Board (SSB)Interview. Eligibility criteria is given below.

OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY (NON-TECHNICAL MEN )
Candidates are required to qualify in UPSC written examination i.e. CDS examination. The exam consists of three papers i.e Maths, English and GK of 100 marks each. It is a common examination for Indian Military Academy (IMA)and Officers Training Academy (OTA) . While for IMA all three papers are compulsory, for OTA , Maths paper is not compulsory.
